Lead times & availability
How much notice do you need?
For most buffets and afternoon tea boxes, two weeks is comfortable — though we can often do shorter notice. For weddings and large corporate orders please get in touch as soon as you can; busy summer weekends book up months ahead. The fastest way to check a date is to WhatsApp 07704 346763.
Can you do same-day or next-day orders?
Sometimes — message us on WhatsApp and we'll tell you straight away. Smaller gift hampers and afternoon tea boxes are usually possible at short notice; larger buffets less so.
Minimum orders
What's the minimum order for a buffet?
Twenty people across all our buffet menus. Ask about special offers for buffets over 100 people.
What's the minimum for picnic and afternoon tea boxes?
We can deliver from 20 boxes, or you can collect from our kitchen at CB6 1SA from 2 boxes. Total maximum is around 150 boxes.
What's the minimum for canapé cups?
Twenty cups per order. Canapés are £3–£3.95pp depending on the menu.
Delivery & collection
Where do you deliver?
Delivery in Ely is free. Free collection from our kitchen at Unit 4 Century Park, Chettisham, Ely CB6 1SA. Outside Ely, delivery is quoted on request — we cover up to roughly a three-hour drive of CB6 1SA for larger orders.
How does set-up work for weddings?
We deliver the hampers, lay them out on the tables according to your seating plan, and come back to collect them at the end of the day. You don't need to lift a finger.
Dietary & allergens
Can you cater for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or dairy-free guests?
Yes. Our standard menus already cover meat-eaters and vegetarians on separate platters. Vegan, dairy-friendly and gluten-friendly guests are catered for in individual boxes — we just need to know in advance who needs what.
Do you handle allergens?
Our kitchen handles common allergens including gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, soya and sesame, so we can't guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment for severe allergies. Please contact us before ordering so we can talk through your guest's specific needs.
Pricing, deposits & payment
How do I pay?
We'll send a quote first and confirm by message before any payment. For larger orders we ask for a deposit to secure the date with the balance due closer to the event; for smaller orders payment in full is requested ahead of delivery.
What if my numbers change?
We work with you on final numbers up to roughly a week before the event. Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to change quantities — for full cancellation terms please ask us when we send your quote.
